Protège-savon

The cedar smell alone makes my bathroom feel like a sauna, and my soap bar actually stays dry between showers now instead of turning into mush. It's been three weeks and the bar hasn't softened or left that gross film on the tray, so I'm sold.

I wasn't sure a block of wood would actually help my soap last longer, but after three weeks my bar is still noticeably thicker than usual. The cedar's natural grain keeps it from sliding around, and the faint woody smell in the shower is a nice bonus.

The cedar really holds up in a wet shower—no warping after three weeks of daily use, and my soap bar isn't turning into a mushy mess anymore. The natural wood grain gives it a nice rugged look on the ledge too.
